In one of the nation’s ritziest neighborhoods, ghosts seem reluctant to leave their charmed lifestyles. Hosting some of Boston’s finest architecture, Copley Square already feels like the 1800s at night, and the host of spirits who built it are still walking its streets.
Walk through the Back Bay and uncover the legends of Trinity Church, The Copley Hotel, and the nation’s first public library. The specters of wealthy intellectuals linger to watch the shoppers on Newbury Street. Gruesome deaths by fire and ice have left the angry imprints of the victims behind. But for the most part, the curious spirits from Copley to the Public Gardens languish pleasantly, blending right in to the neighborhood’s charming night vibe.

We Can't...
- You will almost certainly NOT see a ghost on this tour. Sorry. They just don’t seem interested in working regular hours. However, in fairness, photographs taken around the Copley Hotel have contained very bizarre images.
